Where did you grow up, and where do you live now? Tell us something a lot of people don’t know about your home town.
I grew up in the Florida panhandle but moved to California after joining the Air Force. I spent over twenty five years in the Central Valley of California before moving to Hartford Alabama where I now reside. My hometown is very tiny with only a few stores but I love small town America.

What is your favorite part about writing Sweet Romance/ Cozy Mysteries?
I love romance and having a chance to write them. Coming up with ideas on how two people meet and fall in love and the obstacles, that will no doubt try to get in the way. I love writing happy endings.

Who or what inspired you to become an author?
Believe it or not, my husband. He knew I loved writing and would read a book almost daily. One day I was feeling down because I couldn’t find a book that captured my interest. He just said “Why don’t you write one then?” The rest is history.

If you weren’t an author, what would you be doing?
Probably crafting and gardening.

Do you have any pets? Please tell us about them!
I have one crazy dog that I love dearly, her name is Dixie. She is my rescue baby along with two cats, Elsa and Fiona.

Have you found your own real life happily ever after?
Absolutely. My husband. It was love at first sight and we have been together for 28 years now.

What is one book that impacted or changed your life that you think everybody should read? Tell us about it.
That’s easy… The Holy Bible. It is the one book I turn to in times of joy and sorrow. Lots of wisdom in it and I think the world would be a much better place if more folks would read it.
